EDFU+ASWAN+ABU SIMBEL [OVERNIGHT]

A fascinating journey into the world of Ancient Egypt. The Temple of God Horus in Edfu is the third largest and largest after the Karnak Temple and Madinat Habu. According to legend, the Temple was built in honor of the falcon-headed God Horus and his battle with the God of Evil Set.

The Temple of the Goddess Isis on the island of Philae, a unique temple complex, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. According to legend, Isis, with the power of love and devotion, resurrected her husband Osiris, who was defeated in the battle in Seth.

The Temple of Ramses II in Abu Simbel is a legacy of an ancient civilization, moved to safety due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam. The Temple of Ramses II was built in honor of Pharaoh Ramses II and is dedicated to the gods Amon Ra and Ptah. Above the entrance to the sanctuary of the Temple of Nefertari, the inscription “She for whom the sun shines” is carved.

PROGRAM:

1 DAY Edfu+Aswan+Abu Simbel (overnight):

• Departure from the hotel around 01:00 (depending on the location of the hotel);
• Arrival to  Edfu, visit to the Temple of God Horus;
• Arrival to Aswan;
• Lunch on the banks of the Nile;
• High Dam;
• Trip by the  River Nile;
• Temple of the Goddess Isis on the island of Phil;
• Check-in at the hotel, free time and dinner.

DAY 2 Edfu+Aswan+Abu Simbel (overnight):

• Departure from the hotel at approximately 4 am (breakfast on the way);
• Road to the Abu Simbel Temple, travel time approximately 3 hours;
• Visit to the Great Temple of Ramses II and the Temple of Nefertari;
• Return to Aswan;
• Lunch;
• Return to Marsa Alam at approximately 23:00 (depending on the location of the hotel).

About 15 of the beautiful mammals below and around us plus the many fish on the reef. It was really very relaxing and enjoyable. The food was similar to that of the hotel, there was enough for everyone and a large selection. The drive to the port was quite long at 2.5 hours from Al Qusair, plus another 2 hours to the snorkeling spot by boat. That gives a lot of sun and you are accordingly tired when you arrive back at the hotel in the evening after almost 10 hours by bus and boat. All in all, it was a very pleasant and beautiful trip. Thank you very much!

A guide directing us where to sail, where to look to see as much as possible. We saw a group of dolphins swimming 3 times during these 40 minutes. The second time it was a piece of advice – beautiful, huge, lots of fish. Lunch very good. I recommend. Tour service is also great.

Am zweiten Spot haben wir die Delfine gesehen. Das Essen an Board war sehr gut. Es war ein gelungener Ausflug, den ich weiterempfehlen kann. Allerdings war die Busfahrt 2,5 Std und die Bootsfahrt auch nochmals 2 Std und das Ganze auch wieder zurück. Etwas anstrengend, aber dafür kann das Team und die Verantwortlichen ja nichts
