Sataya Reef is located in the south of Egypt, a natural home for dolphins and one of the most picturesque areas for snorkeling.
Swimming with dolphins in their natural habitat is a dream come true for many travelers, and our experienced team will make sure your day is safe, comfortable, and full of joy.

The journey by sea takes about 2 hours from Hamata harbor on a comfortable yacht.
During the cruise, you’ll be provided with lunch and soft drinks while enjoying the Red Sea views.

Please note: we respect marine life. It’s not allowed to touch or disturb dolphins in their natural environment.

🧭 Program Schedule

1️⃣ Pick-up from hotels in Marsa Alam
Our representative will pick you up early in the morning (around 05:00 AM) and accompany you to Hamata Marina.

2️⃣ Arrival at Hamata harbor
Board the boat and prepare for departure toward Sataya Dolphin Reef.

3️⃣ Get ready with snorkeling equipment
Receive your snorkeling gear and registration number as required by marine authorities.

4️⃣ Sailing to Shaab Sataya
Enjoy a 2.5-hour cruise through the Red Sea before arriving at the beautiful lagoon.

5️⃣ First snorkeling with dolphins
Spend about 1 hour and 30 minutes swimming and snorkeling with groups of playful spinner dolphins in their natural lagoon.

6️⃣ Lunch on board
Enjoy a freshly prepared meal on the yacht with soft drinks.

7️⃣ Second snorkeling stop
Another 45-minute snorkeling session to explore coral gardens and observe more dolphins.

8️⃣ Return trip
After a relaxing day, sail back to Hamata harbor and transfer to your hotel in Marsa Alam (arrival around 17:30).

About 15 of the beautiful mammals below and around us plus the many fish on the reef. It was really very relaxing and enjoyable. The food was similar to that of the hotel, there was enough for everyone and a large selection. The drive to the port was quite long at 2.5 hours from Al Qusair, plus another 2 hours to the snorkeling spot by boat. That gives a lot of sun and you are accordingly tired when you arrive back at the hotel in the evening after almost 10 hours by bus and boat. All in all, it was a very pleasant and beautiful trip. Thank you very much!

A guide directing us where to sail, where to look to see as much as possible. We saw a group of dolphins swimming 3 times during these 40 minutes. The second time it was a piece of advice – beautiful, huge, lots of fish. Lunch very good. I recommend. Tour service is also great.

Am zweiten Spot haben wir die Delfine gesehen. Das Essen an Board war sehr gut. Es war ein gelungener Ausflug, den ich weiterempfehlen kann. Allerdings war die Busfahrt 2,5 Std und die Bootsfahrt auch nochmals 2 Std und das Ganze auch wieder zurück. Etwas anstrengend, aber dafür kann das Team und die Verantwortlichen ja nichts
