The Marsa Alam Search for the Dugong trip is a great opportunity to relax on a white sandy beach, snorkel off coral reefs and go in search of dugongs on a speedboat.

Abu Dabab Red Sea Nature Reserve has inviting blue waters, white sandy shores and lovely marine life. Here you will find two stunning house reefs. The southern and northern reefs are separated by grassy meadows, a welcome find for snorkelling enthusiasts.

Abu Dabab is synonymous with an abundance of colourful fish and amazing bouquets of soft and hard corals. Explore Abu Dabab Bay on a speedboat and you'll get a chance to catch a glimpse of a magnificent dugong! These creatures are related to manatees or "sea cows".

Imagine being underwater and seeing one of these magnificent creatures swim past you, seemingly gliding underwater and picking up sea grasses. Rarely are they seen in groups swimming together, usually swimming singly or in pairs, they are always happy to meet underwater and are not shy to say hello.

PROGRAM Search for the Dugong:

• Departure from the hotel around 12:30 (depending on the location of the hotel);
• Arrival in Abu Dabab at 13:00;
• Snorkeling in Abu Dabab, approximately 1 hour;
• “Search for the Dugong” on a speedboat, up to 8 people, you will go in search of this amazing sea animal, snorkeling, approximately 2 hours;
• Return to the hotel at 16:30.

MARSA ALAM. EXCURSION "RESERVE SATAYA. DOLPHIN HOUSE" NAME: guest REVIEWER: Snorkeling with the dolphins was amazing. About 15 of the beautiful mammals below and around us plus the many fish on the reef. It was really very relaxing and enjoyable. The food was similar to that of the hotel, there was enough for everyone and a large selection. The drive to the port was quite long at 2.5 hours from Al Qusair, plus another 2 hours to the snorkeling spot by boat. That gives a lot of sun and you are accordingly tired when you arrive back at the hotel in the evening after almost 10 hours by bus and boat. All in all, it was a very pleasant and beautiful trip. Thank you very much!

A guide directing us where to sail, where to look to see as much as possible. We saw a group of dolphins swimming 3 times during these 40 minutes. The second time it was a piece of advice – beautiful, huge, lots of fish. Lunch very good. I recommend. Tour service is also great.

Am zweiten Spot haben wir die Delfine gesehen. Das Essen an Board war sehr gut. Es war ein gelungener Ausflug, den ich weiterempfehlen kann. Allerdings war die Busfahrt 2,5 Std und die Bootsfahrt auch nochmals 2 Std und das Ganze auch wieder zurück. Etwas anstrengend, aber dafür kann das Team und die Verantwortlichen ja nichts
